Lady Elliot Island is a coral cay located at the southern tip of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef.

Situated within a highly protected ‘Green Zone’ the coral cay is a sanctuary for over 1,200 species of marine life and is known for its abundance of manta rays, turtles, amazing array of spectacular marine life and unspoilt coral reef. Our accommodation at Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort will be in the Lagoon Reef Units, standard accommodation will be offered as twin share. Single supplement may be available as an upgrade if available.The accommodation is designed to minimise impact on the Island while enriching the overall guest experience of the environment and seasonal wildlife. In keeping with the natural, eco-friendly practices there are no telephones, television, radios or Wi-Fi available in the rooms. Limited Wi-fi available in the restaurant.

transport details:

Access to Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort is on small aircraft chartered from Seair Pacific to transport our guests to and from the Island. As Lady Elliot Island is the most remote Great Barrier Reef island regularly accessed, boat access is impractical. Departure time from Brisbane is 7.15am and we return from Lady Elliot at 2.30pm. Note there is a 15kg luggage limit per person (soft bags preferred, must not exceed 70cm x 40cm x 30cm).

Booking details:

A deposit of $400 per person is required to secure spot on Holiday. Instalments will be required at 6months and final balance 2 months prior to trip. As bookings will be limited by venue capacity I expect that we will be booked up a year in advance, as this is typically when LE Eco Resort is full.

Accommodation & Cancellation Policy - Lady Elliot Island

• Cancellation outside of 2 months prior to travel – cancellation fee equal to the non-refundable
deposit applies.
• Within 60 days but outside of 30 days of arrival – 50% cancellation fee applies.
• Within 30 days of arrival – 100% cancellation fee applies to total booking.
